I picked up a new sketchbook the other day and have decided to fill it with environment sketches. So here's my first attempt at a couple of jungle focused sketches done in pen. I chose pen, as it forces me to live with and work around any mistakes I make.

These are pretty sweet, nice and busy and quite an undertaking. One tip would be to use a heavier weight of line do differentiate forground, midground and background elements. Damien did something similar check his blog and have a look.
I guess try and define the shapes in the forground more. Add some value to help push things to the back or bring them to the front. Okay Ive bored myself now :)
