the second one is crying out for a landmark or temple viewable through that arch way
I've been thinking the same thing myself. Certainly something to consider for the next sketch, as I'm trying to enforce a "no tinkering" rule on sketches I've posted. Will hopefully keep me from spending too much time on any one sketch.
